Do you desire to live your life in peace, no matter what life throws at you? People get lost in the idea that materialistic “things” can bring happiness. Unfortunately this is not so. “If God would just do this. If your spouse or kids would do that.” Or possibly you think if you had a new car or house, you could obtain happiness and peace. Even if the circumstances did in fact change, there would just be something else in life to cause unhappiness. The bible promises trials and tribulations in John “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus said we can have peace in our life in spite of our problems. So if we can have it, then how do we go about getting and remaining in peace? The scriptures give us instruction as of how to do so in 1Peter 3:10-11 “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; the guy have to seek comfort and you will realize they.”
